Welcome to the Victoria Dental Practice in Southsea
Welcome to Victoria Dental Practice. We have been established in Southsea for over 50 years and are centrally situated in the heart of Southsea (Portsmouth) close to the main areas of Elm Grove, Albert Road and Palmerston Road. The Victoria Dental Practice is well connected by car, bus and train (Fratton train station is just a 5 min walk away). We are a professional, family dental practice and provide high quality dental care in a relaxed friendly environment.
One of our aims is continuity of dental care. We are keen to see you as a regular patient over a number of years. This will help you develop trust and confidence in our practice. We pride ourselves on a low turnover of staff. The principal, Geoff Brooke-Jones and the practice manager Lynn have been here for over 19 years. Vivien Geary, our hygienist has been with us for 18 years and our head nurse Caroline has worked here for 30 years.
Victoria Dental Practice has very experienced and dedicated staff. All members of our team are registered with the GDC and attend regular courses to keep their knowledge as up to date as possible.
Dental Surgery in Southsea
Our Dental Surgery in Southsea offers private dentistry, where you can either pay as you go or join Denplan. Denplan allows you to budget for your dental treatment, by allowing you to pay in monthly instalments. If you decide to join Denplan it will cover your 6 monthly check up appointments, hygienist visits when necessary, all white fillings, xrays, root treatments, crown and bridgework, emergency appointments, etc. etc. The only thing it does not cover are your lab bills, which are only payable when carrying out crown, bridge or denture work. Denplan also has a built in insurance that covers you for emergency treatment anywhere in the world. Please see Denplan’s website for more information or click on the link.
We can see children under 18 on the NHS when space is available.
We offer the very latest in modern treatments including tooth whitening, veneers, bonded porcelain crowns and all types of cosmetic work. We have our own in house hygienist. We do not have an orthodontist on site but can refer you to an excellent local orthodontist who’s practice is situated only a few doors away from us.
Many of our patients are very fearful of dentists and often come on their first appointment needing emergency treatment. We do all we can to relax them and provide a gentle friendly service. Often they then develop into regular patients, with some travelling far and wide to see us. We aim to treat all patients as we would like to be treated ourselves.
If you are looking for a dentist in Southsea, Fratton, Portsmouth, Hampshire or West Sussex or are wanting a second opinion please feel free to contact the surgery. We will endeavour to help you in any way we can.
